Sarah Easey - Founder & Lead Therapist
MSc Psych, PG Dip Psych, MA Psych, MBACPSarah graduated from the University of Essex in 2018 with masters degrees in Psychology and Psychodynamic Counselling. Her psychology degree focused on social and positive psychology, neuroscience, and theories of child development. She has worked in schools and private practice since 2018 in Essex and Suffolk, and has helped countless adolescents and young adults with their mental-health issues using psychodynamic and CBT techniques. Sarah is a registered member of the BACP (membership #00809848), fully insured, and has an enhanced DBS. Sarah is available for sessions with adolescents and adults in both our Halstead and Earls Colne locations.

Sam Allen - Co-founder and Non-Executive director
Sam is an advanced nurse practitioner with nearly 30 years experience in healthcare. Her background includes working within acute and primary care settings and she has supported the physical and mental health care needs of both children and adults.
Sam currently works in a local GP practice and understands the difficulties faced by adults, children and families in accessing timely and affordable mental health support.
Carmen Saunders - Co-founder and Non-Executive director
Carmen lives in Braintree with her three children, aged 12, 10, and 7. As a busy working mum, she understands the importance of mental wellbeing, balance, and community support, values that guide both her personal life and professional work. Outside of her role, Carmen is passionate about fitness and functional health
Professionally, Carmen supports early years provisions across West Essex as a Business Management Consultant for Essex County Council. She works closely with childcare providers, community groups, and local stakeholders to ensure families have access to high-quality, sustainable early education and care. With a background in operations, leadership support, and data-driven planning, Carmen brings a practical, compassionate approach to systems that support children and families, especially those facing challenges.
Carmen is deeply committed to the intersection of early years development and mental health, believing that strong foundations in childhood and community care are key to lifelong wellbeing.
